Apply for Membership

The services covered by each category of membership are outlined below and the differences between each category of membership are outlined in the Membership Services Comparison document. 

All fees apply to the 2017/2018 financial year period.

 

Full Membership

This category of English Australia Membership is for colleges registered on CRICOS as an ELICOS provider. Colleges must have been registered on CRICOS as an ELICOS provider for a minimum of 12 months.

Membership covers all locations listed on CRICOS under the same CRICOS provider code. One location is nominated as the primary site - this site is the Full Member with all the rights associated with this category of membership. Each additional site is categorised as an Associate Member.

Membership fees have three components:

   1)  a base fee;

   2)  a supplementary fee for each ‘additional site’ as listed on CRICOS;

   3)  a supplementary fee based on the number of ELICOS student weeks delivered over the previous calendar year by a single college or across all colleges in a group.

Associate Membership - Access

This category of English Australia Membership is for newly established colleges that have been registered on CRICOS for less than 12 months and is only available for a maximum period of 12 months (at which time the college is eligible to apply for Full Membership).

Associate Membership - Access fees: 

$2,500 pa (+GST)

The services provided under this category are designed to encourage professional development for newly established colleges, provide colleges with an improved understanding of the ELICOS environment, and provide networking opportunities within the industry for college staff. Colleges with Associate Membership - Access are not entitled to use the English Australia logo or access any other English Australia services. Associate Membership - International

This category of English Australia Membership is for Australian providers of English language programs outside of Australia who are fully accredited by the National ELT Accreditation Scheme (NEAS) under the NEAS International accreditation program.

Associate Membership - International fees: 

$500 application fee

$3,600 pa (+GST)

Associate Membership - International includes all the services/rights provided to colleges with Full Membership except for membership of the English Australia Tuition Assurance Scheme (not applicable to offshore centres) and voting rights. Colleges within this category are entitled to attend and speak at English Australia General Meetings, however cannot vote.
