English Australia meets and consults regularly with other language associations worldwide via a forum called the Global Alliance of Education & Language Associations (GAELA). English Australia’s Executive Director is the immediate past Convenor of GAELA (2007 to 2011). (GAELA members in attendance in September 2014)

English Australia meets and consults regularly with agent associations worldwide via a forum called the Federation of Education & Language Consultant Associations (FELCA).

English Australia is a member of the Association of Language Travel Organisations (ALTO), a forum joining leading language travel agents, schools, and national associations as one global community. English Australia’s Executive Director was elected to the Board of ALTO in 2011 for a one year term.
