English Australia Awards

Recognition and Celebration

English Australia has seven awards in its Awards Program. English Australia and our awards sponsors believe it is important to recognise individuals and organisations who make outstanding contributions to raising the professionalism of the English language sector of international education in Australia and to celebrate their achievements, their dedication and their inspiration.

Development of the English Australia Awards Program

The first Award was launched in 2003, with the Awards Program developing further in subsequent years. English Australia would like to acknowledge the strong support of sponsoring organisations in enabling the industry to recognise and celebrate contributions in this way.

Nominations & Judging

Nominations open in March/April each year and most awards are open to any organisation registered on CRICOS to deliver English language courses. Each award is judged by a panel of relevant industry experts and all winners are announced at the gala awards dinner of the English Australia Conference in September.

Click on the award below to find out more.

Note: Judges are asked to declare any conflict of interest that may arise with a nominee in any category of award. If this is felt by the other judges on the panel to have the potential to seriously affect the selection process, that judge will be asked to stand down
