Reports from 2011 Action Research in ELICOS Program now available

Outcomes of the 2011 Action Research in ELICOS Program have been published in Issue 48 of Research Notes, the quarterly journal reporting on research, test development and validation at Cambridge ESOL.

The 2011 projects covered teaching pronunciation; developing independent learning skills; explicitly teaching assessment rubric; teaching grammar in EAP courses; teaching reading skills to Arabic-speaking learners; and using blogs to develop creative writing skills.

English Australia congratulates the teacher-researchers on their curiosity, their commitment and their hard work in researching their areas of interest then preparing the reports to share with others in the field.

More information on the Action Research in ELICOS Program is available here. English Australia recognises the strong support and contribution of Cambridge ESOL to the success of the program.
