Browns English Language School – supporting English Australia advocacy work
BROWNS English Language Schools, winner of the state’s highest recognition of export achievement The Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards (Education and Training) and winner of the prestigious 2012 Australian Export Awards (Education and Training), was pleased to host the Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Trade, The Hon Kelvin Thomson, MP last week at the BROWNS ELS Brisbane campus.
Mr Thompson was accompanied by Ms Cheryl Stanilewicz, State Director (Qld) Australian Trade Commission (Austrade), where they discussed with Richard Brown (Managing Director) and Natalie McIntyre (General Manager) the current challenges faced by the Education and Training sector as exporters.
“It was really encouraging to have conversations with both Mr Thompson and Ms Stanilewicz, and hear that they were not only interested, but they truly appreciate the challenges for our industry in the current economic environment,” stated Mr Brown after the visit.
