NEW Guide to Best Practice in Disaster Management in ELICOS

English Australia has released a further Guide to Best Practice in ELICOS compiled from member practice.

The Guide to Best Practice in Managing the Effects of Natural Disasters in ELICOS was initiated by Jon Fawcett from English Australia member college Navitas, and completed with contributions from other member college staff with experience in an area that, thankfully, has a low probability of occurring to most colleges but which has the potential for significant impact. We are also particularly grateful for contributions from Steve Knussen, of Kaplan International College. Members will find the two case studies provided by Jon and Steve, outlining their experiences with Cyclone Yasi and the Christchurch earthquake last year, very moving as well as extremely useful.

The new resource can be found on the English Australia website along with other Guides to Best Practice.

COLLEGES > SERVICES & RESOURCES > PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT & DEVELOPMENT > BEST PRACTICE GUIDES

The Guides are only available to staff at English Australia member colleges and you need to be logged in to access them. Please contact Grace at the English Australia secretariat, easec@englishaustralia.com.au, if you are having problems with this.
