Participate in the 2015 English Australia Action Research Program

• Would you like to systematically explore an aspect of your teaching and discover more about how your students learn?
• Would you like to work with enthusiastic and talented teachers from around Australia?
• Are you an academic manager seeking to reinvigorate your teaching team?

In 2015, English Australia, in partnership with Cambridge English Language Assessment, is once again offering ELICOS teachers the opportunity to participate in the award-winning Action Research in ELICOS Program and to undertake small-scale classroom based action research projects, led by international authority on action research, Anne Burns.

The goals of the program are:

a) to equip teachers with skills to enable them to explore and address identified teaching challenges in the context of Australian ELICOS; and
b) to share outcomes of this research in the form of publications as well as presentations at local events and at the English Australia Conference, which will be in Brisbane in 2015.

Research focus
In 2015, there will be a focus on teaching, learning and assessing writing. To find out more about the research theme, click here: Research focus
