ASQA/TEQSA have sent the Principal Executive Officer of each ELICOS provider an invitation to attend ELICOS Provider Briefing Sessions that will be jointly hosted by ASQA and TEQSA in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

The briefing will provide ELICOS providers and other key stakeholders with an overview of ASQA and TEQSA's objectives and operations with respect to ELICOS. The briefing will also include presentations on ASQA's and TEQSA's processes for CRICOS registration, renewal of registration and courses and amendments to registration, national regulatory compliance issues and regulatory investigation.
Briefing sessions will be held as follows:
- Melbourne on Friday 26 October', 9.30am - 12.30pm at Mantra on Little Bourke, Level 3, 451 Lt Bourke St, Melbourne
- Brisbane on Tuesday 30 October, 2.00pm - 5.00pm at Christie Conference Centre, Level 6, 320 Adelaide St, Brisbane
- Sydney on Friday 9 November, 9.30am - 12.30pm at Wesley Conference Centre, 220 Pitt St, Sydney
Please note that while the briefing is free, registration is required to attend the event and there is a maximum of two representatives per provider.
The registration form should be returned to elicos@teqsa.gov.au by 19 October 2012.
The handouts from these sessions will be made available on the ASQA and TEQSA websites for those providers who are unable to make any of these sessions.
The briefing sessions will allow time for questions and answers, but you are invited to submit any questions you may have regarding the ELICOS regulatory processes in advance by emailing elicos@teqsa.gov.au with the subject header "ELICOS briefing session questions".
