English Australia has been working closely with the other education peak bodies on strategies to gain greater responsiveness to the needs of the international education industry from both the government and the opposition in this election year.
The seven peak bodies issued a joint communique today that called on the government to respond as a matter of urgency to the recommendations in the Chaney report and calling on all parties to support our important industry.

English Australia’s Executive Director, Sue Blundell, also attended a meeting of the Education Visa Consultative Committee in Canberra last Friday where all peak bodies continue to discuss with DIAC the issues of member colleges, including GTE and SVP, and to advocate for changes in implementation that will address the concerns of the industry.
