1. Tool of the month: Poll Everywhere
What is it?
It is a website where teachers can make polls to share with students.
How can you use it?
1. You can use it to brainstorm ideas during the class or as a pre-task for the following class to help you find out what is already known before a topic starts.
2. You can do a ‘Have you say’ activity. Set up a poll on a very controversial topic, students discuss the topic in small groups, and then they take a vote… You can round off the activity with an open group discussion.

3. Hurry, hurry! Podcasting course starting this week!
Do you know what a podcast is? You do know but would like to learn how to use it with your students? Check out our Podcasting course which runs from 15 to 30 July. Current participants are from Spain, Japan, China, Ireland and Carol Rainbow, the course tutors, in the UK. There are still a few places and you are welcome to join us here now!
